      Remco Marcelis has over 20 years of business experience and has been a hands on CFO/COO in medium sized businesses for the last 10 years.  This was preceded by 4 years in venture capital and 10 years working with multinational management consulting/IT services companies. Remco’s diverse career combines personal experience in his own start-ups, managing meteoric growth in a successful media company, a mobile App company and an early stage climate change company.   These companies collectively raised around $15 million in outside investment and included preparation for a back door listing.  His venture capital experience includes 20 early stage investments totalling $25 million.  Remco’s career was grounded with management consulting and IT services experience with Accenture, PricewaterhouseCoopers and EDS.  His foundational role as the Principal Finance Analyst at EDS was instrumental in securing a world-first whole of government A$565m IT services contract.  As a tech-savvy CFO and ‘systems thinker’, Remco has driven numerous process improvement and technology projects across all areas of the businesses he has been involved in, from financial systems implementations to increasing sales efficiencies and improving project costing systems.
